This thread is about how to resolve the football league season across UK, not the ****ing Belgian constitution. Tosser.

Should we open a ‘book’ on when those currently in denial will eventually concede that the Olympics and Brexit will follow suit.

    Utterly inevitable imo.

ironic that something that is closing borders all over Europe could hold up a process of closing borders between UK and Europe!

Olympics in July cant be far off being cancelled - or maybe postponed until December

Just waiting for the Open golf to bite the bust as I have some very expensive corporate hospitality days there....... :-(

Closer to home for me..... the 2020 F1 Grand Prix at Zandvoort. The Dutch have waited since Jim Clark's 985 win for another F1 event and now it looks well and truly coronard. It has cost millions to rejig and reconstruct the track up to modern F1 standards. Looks like another year's wait in store.

Jim Clark...wow! In my one and only visit to some giant Scalextric track in Cheshire (Oulton Park?) - an uncle tried unsuccessfully to get me interested - I saw Jim Clark...think he beat Graham Hill and Jack Brabham.

Zandvoort features in a chapter of the book I’m writing, what a track it was back in the day

Belgium’s constitution is influenced by earlier constitutions of the French and the Netherlands; the legal system is based on the Napoleonic code. It became independent of the Netherlands in 1830 and has a limited constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary system of government. A federal system provides for the autonomy of French, Dutch, and German speaking communities, who reside within the Walloon, Flemish and Brussels regions. Parliamentary democracy generally results in a coalition government. Belgium is one of the founding fathers of the European Union and has a civil law system.

    What an asshole
