Been reading where a Bristol Gin distillery is making sanitiser gel, giving it to residents in the area, asking for a charity donation for it, also its said even hospitals have been in touch with the firm, to get the gel.

A quicky question? What is going to happen re weddings and funerals with regard to the corona virus? People in close proximity and people coming from different parts of the country etc? Will they need to be called off? Rearranged? What of the expense?

i would think regarding funerals that if people have died from the corona virus their families may still have it and even if people have died from other causes you still have the proximity of people.

Message to folk who’ve stockpiled hand sanitiser and they know they have more than they need - please take/post some of your hoard to the nearest NHS hospital surgery and hand it over

    thank you

    Corona virus and divorces:

Dunno about this. If the relationship with your mrs is that bad I doubt another week stuck at home with her will make much difference. Also you might argue that it may bring people closer together fighting a common enemy.

    Whats tha think?

Don't know how to put links up. Guardian newspaper website "Japanese anti-flu....". Drug has only been used as a "last resort" and hasn't been through full clinical trials yet, but some success is being claimed.

Additional - yes, that is the report

On a lighter note - just been to Tesco and nobody seems to be panic buying beer and lager

Looks like the drug only works on mild cases. Guess it's a start

It may possible to modify the drug structure to make it more potent , in fact quite likely - obviously it will take time to do that though and test the analogues
