    Rishi Sunak - Very Impressive.

This guy really is top notch.

The most impressive politician I have seen in many a long year and without doubt the next Prime Minister after Boris.

Not only is he assured but he also appears sincere.

I think he’ll prove to be the standout politician of the next 20 years.

Can't agree more Mick. Looks calm and assured when he speaks. This unfortunate period has handed Boris a great opportunity to throw off that handle of being a buffoon and personally, I think that he has stood up to the plate very well.

    I agree Tip.

    Cometh the hour,cometh the man/men!

Timing in life is often so ***** and regardless of your political persuasion Boris is the best figurehead for this situation.

Churchill is his hero and I think he’ll go down in history on the same sort of footing.

He’s in his element in my opinion,he strikes the right tone in terms of the right level of gravity in his message but also offering hope and being upbeat.

Can you imagine Swinson or Corbyn in situ at present? 😲🤭😩⚰️

Rishi Sunak has got his timing right as well........this guy is shrewd,he’s got the answers and he’s a fantastic communicator.

    Well played both.

Corbyn was on the news last night, moaning; what a horrible bloke he is, thank the Lord that he didn’t win the election!

He's been fairly quiet this last few days hasn't our Jezza, someone tweeted we're all impressed with Rishi because those he's being compared with are all nothing to write home about. Typical negative glass half empty types who whatever our leaders do will find a cloud in every silver lining.

Agree with all of you - he's come from nowhere and acquitted himself brilliantly.

Just listened to this guy doing the daily update and he was so impressive. None of the questions were any trouble for him and he exuded confidence with his replies. A future PM for sure.

So impressive was he again I assumed these were all new posts straight after his latest performance not just the added one from Tip.

As my wife said "no idea if everything he says is making sense but he sure does sound if he is"

I have to agree I’m not a fan of Boris at all, but I can’t criticise him at all
Yes there have been mistakes but we were not prepared which is not the governments fault

They have been decisive and Rishi stands out here he’s been clear decisive and as comments above said sincere
He’s married into a billionaire family so it’d be easy to be an arse but he seems like a level headed fella

The idiots in the general public have been the biggest let down, but let’s not forget the huge majority have been awesome

We have a lot to be proud of and a lot of similarity in areas we thought divided us before
