    They can't win.

All you two idiots are doing is finger pointing.

    I'll answer question 1 only.

Let's go back to the original post on this thread. Let's go back to that ship and the noise about getting British subjects to the UK. Let's focus on the planes that came back and the quarantine centres set up in the Wirral and elsewhere.

Tongue in cheek I said it at the time but obviously didn't post it on here because I would have been likened to Hitler or worse. I think Grist actually posted as much.

The stories were starting to circulate and the media got hold of it. we saw the video from the guy on the ship asking for the government to do something.

    We brought them back.

Grist said send a gun ship. I'd have quarantined that ship out of sea and I definitely wouldn't have let anyone back in the country.

100% if that had happened you and this idiot who keeps throwing accusations around would have been up in arms.

Spouting your political nonsense and calling our decision makers clueless.

At every turn you two have been wallowing at every little turn. Happy as pigs in sh!t.

    Shame on you.
You are talking out of your arse again. Why am I finger pointing? I have just asked a question as any human being might do in such serious times. I have stated I am not taking a political stance on this which I havent. Show me where I have.

How do you know I would be up in arms? What would you say to me if I made assumptions about what you would say

Not sure why you are avoiding questions by the way. Have you got kids or grandkids? What would you say to them if they asked you the same questions as they might?

Why would I wallow in this? Are you saying I am in some way immune to what may happen to me or my family? Have i not the right to be wanting some answers ? Should I wait till something happens to one of my family before asking questions?

Thanks for the answer you gave, I am puzzled why you didn't want to answer the others.

Where did I call anyone clueless?

Just to add. I am very happy that pubs, restaurants and schools are to be closed and agree the govt are doing the right thing on this. I am also in agreement with self isolation. So no I don't disagree with everything the govt is doing. Iam also happy with govt advice on social distancing . And I will be doing my best not to spread this on to vulnerable people. And yes i disagree with people who have been hoarding.

Sounds to me we may have more in common than you may think.

Good luck to you and your family, we may all need it.

Asking the question is fine. Asking it with a mind closed by political prejudice isn't. Asking it at the moment isn't particularly helpful.
Could health systems or at least some aspects of health systems be better prepared given the warnings this would happen?

Merkel is a Conservative-type politician , like Boris and somebody I would not agree with much, but the statistics show Germany is dealing with this problem much more effectively than us. If people want to ignore that, that's up to them. I don't think that following what the USA is doing, only a few days behind ( as described by CAM), is going to do us much good

What are you doing then? Playing devils advocate??

    Grow up.

You keep questioning rational thought out decisions.

How can you prepare a health service for pandemics that come along once in 2 lifetimes?

    What about infrastructure, education etc.

We both know the filthy rich have the wealth to ride this storm. Problem with you, is you have this inner belief that everything is equal in every way.

Just not true. For every person with genuine needs there is a scoundrel.

    I’ll help anyone within reason.

If you want societies to provide health services to be prepared for pandemics and climate change we can control the world population.

I can give you every answer to make the world a better place but it’s not possible.

It’s not ethical, it’s not humane, it’s not fair

Germany has an healthier population than the UK. I believe their testing procedure is not identical to ours.

    Why don’t you move there?

Roly don’t tell me i’m talking out of my arse.

Might not be so palatable for you and others but it’s unlikely you’d beat me at any task, that would conceivably make the world a better place.

Believe what you want but pretty sure you’d want my help before I need yours.

Keep preaching otherwise. On many subjects you make a good case but you’ve shot your load on this one.

    Clueless.
