Just been to my local co-op. There was a local lady at the counter so I stood about 6ft behind her. The woman behind the till (known gob****e) shouts can you move back please and give the customer some room. I gave a rye smile and took a step back. Now about 8tf away. She proceeded to say you can smile but I don't want to catch the virus. Our customers don't and I'm sure you don't. By this time the lady Infront had gone. So I asked well how am I supposed to pay you if you want me 8ft away from the till?. Her reply was you can come upto the till now it's your turn. I replied but if I stretch out my arm I could touch you which is about 3ft away.. her reply. Well I'm getting paid to take that risk.
Other cashier said ignore her Andy she's been on one all day.
I just left whilst they argued between themselves.

Italy has reported another 602 deaths from coronavirus, Reuters news agency says. That brings the total death toll up to 6,078 - but it means that the daily number of deaths has fallen for the second day in a row, down from 651 on Sunday.

Crucially, our Rome correspondent Mark Lowen says, the rise in new infections has slowed again, from 9 to 8.1%.

Practically impossible to stick to the social distance measures at work due to the layout of the factory and the nature of many of the jobs .

I don't know where the people around me have been all weekend and had contact with .

Raised the issue with a senior manager and he just shrugged his shoulders .

Seriously thinking about keeping away and let the chips fall where they fall .
