Some people get a bit obsessive about this you can't go out of your front gate and its nonsense as long as you follow the rules.

From their lungs. Surely a virus could cover the same distance.
    Please say I'm talking daft.
I get your point but as it's transmitted in droplets it would have to be a pretty strong cough, sneeze, gob, ejaculation or projectile vomit to cover 30'-50'

Stopping people dying isn't nonsense. Most of what you're saying is the antithesis of what the govt is telling you which is stay at home. They are not encouraging you to go out
I'm sure you said in an earlier post that you struggled to keep 2m away and had to walk in the road. It's impossible for people to keep the distance at all times.
Mental Health issues? Not a problem if your dead. It will be a problem if you kill someone else though.

2m reduces the risk of transmission, it doesn't eliminate it. If a person coughs or sneezes they create an aerosol of micro- droplets that can carry a virus. That aerosol can remain suspended in the air for some time.

On sunny days in particular, any virus in the droplets will be killed by UV light, but that is not instantaneous.

You underestimate mental health issues. Our next door neighbour is trying to work at home but also has 2 young schoolage daughters to look after and entertain. They are driving him crackers already. A pal of mine who normally is very active and is probably in the at risk group says he is already in his words climbing up the wall. What about those who live in flats and only see four walls. People on their own?The problem is after a while people are going to say feck it and go out any way. What about people who are stuck with partners they dont want to be with? Bpris is tight. People do need to get out reasonably.

You can avoid others by using common sense. I did this morning and in any case whatever you do you will still ,as i witnessed today see people chatting, as if nowt as happened.

I didn't say it was but he was asking about people 10m-15m away and transmission similar to cigarette smoke. Obviously on surfaces is probably the way it's being spread the most, hence the hand washing and face touching advice.

I don't for one minute believe you and flour have not left your home or don't intend to. You will not be able to do it for long if you havent. it helps if you are not being hyocritical on here.

JUst to ad to my previous point what about people with mental health issues to start with. You are ignoring a big chunk of the population there,

I will carry on going out with my daily exercise while ever I'm allowed as will millions of others and so they should. Yes theres a slight chance there might be summat lingering in the air but come on is it a million to one or summat?

I keep saying this but you need to focus on the people who are really taking the piss not the exercisers not thar it will make any difference.

Boris will have accounted for non compliers and aerosols in the air in his calculations. If he aint hes dafter than I thought.

Its dead simple. Damage limitation. Source the health system and lock in the vulnerable.

One last point. IT could be me who is one of the victims of this but I am willing to risk that for my sanity and physical health (Healthy people have better immune systems by the way).
