Chloroquine is a drug derived from quinine which is used to treat Malaria and has it's own problems. Although it is being cautiously tested as a treatment for COVID it is still unproven but good luck to the guinea pigs.
If you review the number of cases here ( around 5000) you will see there is no chance of herd immunity any time soon. Unproven it may be and its not being rolled out but we have it.
