    Thanks for posting this. Almost missed it among all the OT stuff. Revived some great memories. Notts line up made up of remnants of the First Division squad, plus youth players and two long shot signings that didn't work (Waite and Edge). Atmosphere was electric. That camera shot looking over the County Road stand (packed wooden terraces) right after the final whistle is one of my favourite images of the old ground.

    Great find. Ray Lewis the ref coming from Great Bookham was always fun.

    They were the days. 4 ****agers in defence, a bad mistake which meant we went a goal behind in only the 3rd minute (not helped by the pitch) and to draw against that team was a great performance.

    Re: The 'Sliding Doors' thread ... what would have happened if that 'goal' had stood or if Clemence hadn't made that great save at the end?

    We would have been at home to Everton in the 5th round with a chance of revenge for losing to them in the QF's two years earlier.
