On a more positive note...Best Western giving up hotel space for non Covid 19 hospital patients thus releasing more emergency hospital beds. Well done.

    Agreed.
Businesses could be missing a trick here, by not helping. Great PR
I've learned quite a bit already as to who isn't getting my money anymore. Mr Branson included.

Mr Branson, a greedy selfish multi millionaire - I thought he was the voice of unbiased reason that we should all listen too

Branson is now the enemy as far as I am concerned.
He has portrayed his companies as all things British to get extra customers, to make him richer.
It just shows you what happens when asked to return something. ****s on his staff/wants tax payers to bail him etc.
This was a remainer champion, you have to scratch your head and question his motives.

Marinakis has just given 100k to his home town hospital in Greece.
Probably small change to him. But then again, 100k is small change to a lot of folks in football.
Fans, pay them/support them/give them adulation.
As long as I'm all right jack seems to be the norm.

Or, just because its the right thing to do, see my comment about Mrs F's company above, not aware that they've publicisd their generosity and for sure they didn't do it for PR.

Agree with that. The motivation should be the well being of society...not ‘good PR’.
