Labour went two steps forward and I was open to be persuaded to vote for them if they did well in the next few years.
But on day two KS appointed Ms Raynor, day three Ms Long Bailey and day five Ms Shah.
A balanced shadow cabinet? Is that a late April's fool joke perhaps
Now completely unelectable again in five days and absolutely no confidence in them as theyve messed it up again.

I might see what the Lib Dems are doing come election time.
I counted 30 people in the new Labour shadow cabinet team. Amongst them are centrists Lisa Nandy, Ed Milliband, Nick Thomas-Symonds, Annaliese Dodds, Rachel Reeves, Liz Kendall, Jess Philips, Wes Streeting - in fact 12 mps who refused to serve under Corbyn are now actively involved. Why are you not referring to them in your opinions on how unbalanced the labour shadow cabinet is?

I think Starmer has struck a great balance in that both left and right of the party are happy to proceed without the in fighting that we saw from 2015 onwards. More reflective and mature Conservative supporter analysis seems to recognise that this more unified force will be a better opposition. Sadly, the majority of right wingers on here are predictably just quoting Sun and Mail headlines.

    No ifs no buts, done.

Your politics are like my support of the Millers. I never accept criticism from any other fans although I do admit occasionally we could have done better and chosen a different option.
But that's as much as they'll ever get from me.
I know RUFC are rubbish in the grand scheme of things and will be for a long time but regardless of that I'm very protective of my club. You appear to be the same with Labour. Fair enough, I've made that choice with my footer team too.
He's trying to save capitalism not promote socialism .

The whole country would collapse if they hadn't have done .

Same as Brown and Darling did following the financial collapse in 2008 .

The big question isn't what they've done but rather who pays the bill for all these measures down the road .

    Some of us ?

    All of us ?

That is how this government will be judged or should I say should be judged .

There’s some bitter and twisted idiots in there with a spread of racist and bigots....another step backwards for labour

If Jeremy Corbyn (god forbid) had coved 19, I would wish him a speedy recovery and clap my heart out for him...I suppose it’s a case of how you were brought up by your parents

I make that about right, Animal. Financially, the leaders of the big economies have all done roughly the same thing. Even President Fakenews has intervened financially to try to to save the USA economy, despite hating any increase in public spending. What Boris and Fakenews haven't been very good at is intervening in the medical part of the problem, compared with Germany, Japan, etc.

HI John. I hope that you are keeping well.

I think that the issue may be that I actually give a **** about the Labour Party and a leftist party that is worth voting for.

When I’m reduced to the level of raging, who thinks that I should celebrate that Starmer has only managed to include one representative of the idiot Left into his cabinet (he clearly hasn’t checked out Afzal Khan – Shadow Deputy Leader of the Commons), I’m sure that I will sign up for membership and join in the chorus of making excuses for a party that ought to be at the forefront of confronting prejudice and promoting equality, but spends a good deal of time doing exactly the opposite.

I want an alternative to an untrustworthy liar of a PM. I think I was one of many people who wanted one on December 12th. I suspect that I am not alone in being disappointed by Starmer too.

The question is - why is he so ashamed of admitting that he is a Tory party supporter? Not a problem for several others on here - I admit, mainly the more loopy ones

He is an absolute joker - not to be taken at all seriously.
How about a variation on the 'proven liar challenge' that I offered wendun, but which he never took up?

You tell me where I have a claimed to be 'neutral’ and I will never post again. If you can't, all you have to do is apologise to me.

Can you name some of this 'spread' with evidence of their racism and bigotry?

Bonus points if you can get anyone to top the Picaninnies and bum boys quotes from your leader

I'd agree that There are some good people in the shadow cabinet that you mention but why has he spoilt it all within just a few days by including the individuals that I've mentioned.
I'm a floating voter and I put my cross against the party that I think is best placed to govern my country at the time of each election.
I wouldn't want those people in quite key positions assisting and influencing a new potential PM. I wouldn't want them anywhere near govt to be blunt.
After having been given a fabulous chance to make a clean sweep and a new start I'm now thinking that KS is a poor judge and cannot be trusted with my vote. All within 5 days.
