Police caught a family at 5am from London going on a 200 mile fishing trip, fined & sent home.

Then there the 18 year old caught 6 times breaking the lock down

The press are not being very helpful in this. They would argue they need to let the public know what's going on. That's fine but cut out the bull and just publish the useful stuff instead of owt just to fill the news slot

There's constructive criticism and there's going after "gotchas" and it's the latter that they're doing, they haven't adjusted to the situation at all, they're behaving in the same pathetic manner as always, I think the licence fee should end and so should public funding of Channel 4.

Its the hypocrisy thats galling , they were out clapping for the NHS Thursday . It knocked me off kilter for a while, they are normally a nice couple and often share a joke with him over the fence, but watching tonights news I feel vindicated in speaking my mind

Imagine having the worry of this pandemic, sheltering at home and facing tornadoes like much of the S and SE of the States are living with at the moment. Talk about kicking people when they are already down.

BylineTime is slightly less bonkers than Skawkbox or The Canary, but has a clear political bias. I stopped reading the article when I got to the bit where it misrepresented what Johnson said about ‘taking it on the chin’ on March 5th. The selective quoting of that interview that has gone on does no credit to those on the the Left who claim to be concerned about media bias.

Obviously a lot of guests on news programs are being interviewed whilst working from home .
But Nine out of ten insist on having a backdrop of bookshelves or a mini library.

I wonder if they are trying to appear intellectual or is this another example of people just mirroring what others are doing.
Maybe it's one of the lesser known lockdown rules and you won't get on TV unless one of your rooms is set up like Waterstones bookshop
