Had they done so a new plan would have had to be drawn up anyway.I will always stick with my initial thoughts that you cannot relegate teams who could have gotten out of the position they were in.It would have been so unfair to send Partick down when they had every chance to stay up.

Does anyone actually think Partick or Hearts would have stayed up? Personally I don't.

Unbelievable that Dundee still can’t decide!!!

Apparently some suggestion the Thistle legal position has caused a delay.

    Who knows 🤷*♂️🙈

Well Partick did have a game in hand,IF they had won it they were out of the automatic relegation spot.I think they would have been in the play off place mate.As for Hearts i think they were going down 100%.

They probably want a top league of 14 or 16,a league of 14 means no United,Hearts or even ICT (bogey team)to worry about.A league of 16 means they get promoted by DEEfault again.Good luck with that though as it needs an 11/1 vote from the Premiership.

There’s no danger the Premiership will vote in something that will dilute TV/prize money as much as a 16 team top tier will do. I think a 14 team set up has a chance though and if I’m being honest stands out as by far and away the easiest and most sensible resolution to all this kerfuffle. Which likely means Doncaster will ignore it.

If they disturb the sky agreement for next season then allows sky to walk away.

    Most sensible would be

    SPL 14

    Championship 10

League one north and south - 10 each.

    United and ICT go up.

    Falkirk and Raith go up

    Non league champions both up

No one has to be relegated.

As said though there are stricter voting requirements for that as well as the sky problem

Hearts no, as the other clubs were starting to get wins just when hearts thought they closed in, Hamilton and St Mirren were pulling away from them and in good form, imo St Mirren would have beat Hearts on paisley had the game gone ahead (postponed due to weather)

Partick I was 50/50, mainly due to how poor QOTS had been not recently, Alloa imo would have avoided bottom.
