    The hypocrisy of Talk Sport

How we doing bonny lads and lasses?

To keep up with things happening with the takeover I'm all over social media and dip my toe into talk sport whilst I'm cooking.

I've been waiting for the typical talksport hype and fanfare afforded to City (UAE Owned) or Sheffield United (Saudi Owned) for the incoming new owners.

Day after day very little more than a passing mentioned - despite being the biggest story in Global sport right now.

Today they announced that at the top of the hour they would be talking about Newcastle.

Finally! I thought, this is gonna be good, some fresh eyes on it.

The had some Pikey Mick tw@t (excuse me my insult I'm 1/2 Irish so there are Irish, there are Paddiesm and their are Pikey Micks) - this as$hole started on about human rights and how Mansour, UAE were not in the same league of evil as our incoming owners.

Barry Glendenning jibbering along in his stupid accent.

Just Sour grapes from all involved because we are going to be a real force in world football once again.

Arsenal, Man U, Chelsea are over - their time at the top has been and gone.

When we are in full flight Newcastle United is a team that can match and beat anyone!

    & Beat them we shall!

    I agree, man.

Like I said the other day, it's incredible the amount of negativity and hostility towards us.

TalkSport are the Dail Mail or Sun of radio. 100% untrustworthy and full of absolute shite.

The reasons for this are they are worried sick we could break into the great top 6 teams they all love and secondly their great mate Mike Ashley is leaving. The press have stirred up a frenzy amongst the public over it to try and sway the FA to block the deal.
Won't happen, the Saudis own a percentage of a lot of the media companies, they own a percentage of the company that produces iPhones and they own a percentage of twitter.
It cracks me up when a journalist from one of these media groups posts on twitter his outrage using his iPhone. The hypocrisy stinks.

Long time member/reader, only posted a few ties but come out me box on this on...
Good posts re: hypocrisy - sometimes it amazes me how others are so blinkered/stupid and yet they think they have moral highground to preach...
get this - if the Saudis are not considered fit and proper to manage a football club, how come UK government/arms industry continue to support their military might?? They must obviously be a fit and proper middle east military superpower...

I bet none of them would like Ashley to buy any of the clubs they support.

This is what my dad keeps telling me. He's recently retired from BAE and said there's no chance our government would ever intervene in anything against the Saudis because of what we sell them in fighter planes. Our government sell them warheads sit back and watch while they blow the sh1t out of Yemen so I really don't think they'll be ar5ed about them wanting to buy a football club.
