Good posts re: hypocrisy - sometimes it amazes me how others are so blinkered/stupid and yet they think they have moral highground to preach...
get this - if the Saudis are not considered fit and proper to manage a football club, how come UK government/arms industry continue to support their military might?? They must obviously be a fit and proper middle east military superpower...

Round of applause Steveo, Exactly this!!!

MBS has been invited and visited the Prime Minister and the Queen - does it get more legitimate than that?

Like I said in another post - Leave the politics and human rights to the politicians.

What the hell are us Geordie football fans gonna do about it? Laughable negativity.

Looking forward to this new chapter of optimism and hopefully for the first time in my life - TROPHIES!!!!

Sit back and enjoy the meltdown

These are just shiit scared that we may finally fulfil our potential.

They gloss over Chinese and Russian attrocities and dirty money. They ignore how the government has been a trade partner with the Saudis for many years. They turn a blind eye to Ashley's antics resulting in parliamentary appearances. We should be grateful and know our place, accept our staus quo and protest against a takeover - theres enough investors and big money in the North East not to rely on the Saudi PIF (yeah, right).

They take the high horse on a load of high stooled issues they have just heard about that have fk all to do with football.

Fk em all. Negative, deluded cnts.

What gets me is whenever these so called journalists jump on their moral high horses they all say Newcastle supporters should be up in arms about the Saudis and we should be trying to stop it. Not one has mentioned Ashlie or called him into question and after all said and done he is the one who is selling to them, not us.

    Excellent point.

Why are the NUFC fans being scolded and not fat Mike?

I have to admit I'm nervous. Can't wait till it's official that the fat demon is exorcised from our club.

    Good point!

Obviously no one would questions a billionaire for selling a business to another billionaire for double the money, whilst asset stripping the club, milking the merchandise, never paid a dime to peddle is sweatshop sports tat and cut staff numbers to one useless fat dummy.

During the BZG trainwreck, the club prepared for being sold. So it was only a matter of time. It would have saved us all a lot of pain if this take over had been completed with PIF last year and Rafa stayed.

However that's water under the bridge and this is a brave new world.
