    Another factor is, even when the lockdown is eased sufficiently for football crowds to gather again, there may still be age, health and social distancing factors to be considered. I know that parts of grounds tend to be full of 15-30 something year olds but there are an awful lot in the 55-75+ category too.

    Things are, imo, going to be very different for a very long time.

    My question is, folks are flapping about this season. But next season is going to be a joke as well.

    Different problems. We have to work out a way of resolving matters that are over 75% complete for this season.

    Next season - and the transfer window in between - will certainly be different, and I’m fairly sure it won’t be kicking off in August. Not necessarily a ‘joke’ though.
