Maybe. Is it just a news story or did they have a change of mind.

With your criticism of the press. Particularly the left wing rags, you can’t go round picking bits out and think it’s all as they say it is.

It’s obvious we didn’t get orders in for reliable testing kits. The government reacted slowly but at the same time they didn’t pamper to the press and buy ineffective one’s immediately.

I’m told the PPE issue is not perfect and again the government/civil servants have messed up and been slow to react.

Logistics are as much a problem as supply. I don’t believe doctors and nurses are treating people in their underwear, unprotected.

I stand to be corrected but my missus knows a few nurses on the frontline who would normally be critical but not hearing those noises. That’s locally.

Care workers have not been advised well in my opinion. These are generally low paid people with few qualifications. Guidance could have been 100 times better in my opinion.

Then there’s the idiots. People ignoring the advice and putting other lives at risk.

I’ve got to deal with one such idiot today. (Not family)

Most hospitals do have PPE and there are certainly Labour/Momentum activist doctors and nurses stirring things up (and have appeared on the BBC and Sky News without their affiliations being mentioned, this has been going on for years though).

It's not just been the left-wing press criticising the government though, the Times and the Telegraph have been criticising them a lot as well.

My understanding is that there are just short of 1300 hospitals in the UK & you say most do have PPE
    How many have not
    Don't just say most
    How many?
& who are these Labour/Momentum activist doctors & nurses, because if you know their political leanings you presumably know their names ,or are you just presuming or indeed is it because they have a different view to your patently obvious right wing bias?

Kate Sheehan was the most recent, complaining about a lack of PPE the day after giving some away to volunteers.

Considering were suppose to be 2 weeks behind other country's I'd expect us to struggle getting equipment.
No hospital has reported they are out of equipment just they are running short on it.
My questions would be why haven't we got sterilisation units to reuse the equipment rather than just bin it.

They do not have a magic tree where they can just pick the PPE up, they even sent an RAF plane to assist with the delayed from Turkey.

Starting to get on my effing nerves with the daily questions about it put to the government.

I read somewhere that a few trusts have discovered there is a way of sterilisation that allows certain garments to be used up to 3 times
