It really is sad that that's all you got on us and we all laughing at it and you. We went down over the season and yes at dump of a ground but as said on here had worse days with United on Cup final days

Spot on Terry, there have been many highlights and trophies won in my lifetime as a United fan, but most importantly, many witnessed in person, which is absolutely priceless, and something many Dees will never be able to claim.
From our first trophies and that famous league win (all at Dens), to finally jumping that final hurdle and lifting the Scottish cup, not once, but twice, and stopping Rangers (RIP) from a double treble (when in their absolute prime) for that first win, brings back memories of epic proportions.
Not to mention all those years humbling the cream of Europe home and often away throughout the 80’s (and to this day still having a 100% win record against Barcelona in European competition (which I don’t think any other team can claim?)).
All of that easily softens the blow of any disappointments over that same period, and I consider myself very privileged to have experienced what I have following United.

We’re not pretending here - we really can all look back and have a right good giggle about the Funny antics that night, which is probably not what you’re hoping to hear. The fact you subsequently completely phucked up the ‘opportunity’ of being the ‘big’ team only makes it even funnier.
    Sorry.
Okay I'll leave it there... you said it was the exact opposite of the worst game you've ever been at...which makes it your best game...so you're right I really don't get it CW33

Oh dear peter, I let that go earlier but what I said was you guys use it as a stick to beat us with whereas infact yes, I quite rightly said it’s the exact reverse - we’re using it against you guys as an example of Funny behaviour and something to be rightly ridiculed. Do keep up please. But having said that, oh if only I could have traded 5 trophy wins for staying up in the Doon Derby.

    Er, Not.

Hoping Peter was at Dens in 80, 83

and at Tynecastle in 87 (best half time ever) which then led to us putting them out the cup 5 years on the trot

That's League cup (Won) , League (Won ) and Scottish

We've won the Scottish at other times though

Peter what’s your top three moments watching the Dees? For United mines are, clinching the league at Dens in 83, winning the Cup in 94 and winning the cup for the second time.

Japan, he’s digging a bigger hole for himself as he goes. It’s minter-tastic. Personally, I never got a wink’s sleep last night for thinking about the Doon Derby. Every time I thought of it I thought of ‘Doon’ specs and pissed myself laughing. And we’ve not even started yet on how they voted us back up.

Thought you were all done with this? You do realise that your obsession with all this in the face of our obvious complete indifference and indeed hilarity, is exactly why we call you lot ‘Funsters’? But just keep cracking on there, I’ll get the popcorn.
