I realise you are not a bleeding heart socialist sinkov, but around 50 Limited Companies close their doors every day because of insolvency.

What's so special about Virgin Atlantic and why do you have no conscience for all of the employees of all of the UK companies that go bust every year?

The answer is very simple sinkov. Capitalism is a paradigm where only the solvent survive.

And businesses only survive by striving to provide their customers with what they want, of the quality they want and at a price they can afford. The incentive is built in, good for the shareholders, and pension funds who are shareholders, good for their employees and good for the consumer, good for the public in general and governments, who rake in the tax to fund public services. That's why capitalism is so successful, everybody wins.

Not so great for the 50 companies and their employees who go bust everyday though sinkov, and not so good for the taxpayers when UK resident MNC's tax dodge in their off-shore havens.

As St Margaret was fond of saying BT,

Better keep a hold of nurse, for fear of fining something worse.

Or perhaps you really do believe the working conditions of Mr Branson's numerous employees would be immeasurably improved by working under the preferred paradigms of such men of the people as Stalin, Lenin, Mao or Pol Pot. If so, go for it BT, but I think you would be well advised to listen to what your Aunty Margaret said above. She knew.

If governments applied equitable tax regimes BT, then there would be no need for tax dodging, but they want to make the pips squeak as Denis so eloquently put it. Hollande took it to the extreme in France, but the pip didn't squeak, they simply left the country, took their wealth with them and he had to back down. But do socialists ever learn, of course not, Socialists still want to make the pips squeak, you can't educate pork.

We are getting a bit off topic here sinkov. Why should we bale out Virgin Atlantic and for example leave the Scottish fishing fleet to rot?

I think there are a few fishing boats left in Scotland after the EU has destroyed the Scottish Fishing industry BT, but a fleet ? I didn't think there were that many.

    I have the answer.

Everyone must be forced to go indoors.

Then a squadron of modified aircraft be adapted to spray Dettol over the entire country.
Once this has been done then everyone must go outside.
Then an army of "Dettol Girls" go into every building and clean thoroughly them with Dettol.

    Problem solved.

Why didn't Hancock think of this?
