That was a Party Political Broadcast on behalf of the Old Farts Still Living In The Past Party.

ps I would have thought 'Conchies' would celebrate the end of a war more than most!

Not at all ...... it's remembering a victory over a nation's enemy which patriots are proud of. (Thank you USA and other allies) *Nondescript Nobody's fail to understand. Of course the Conch's celebrated, they did nothing and expect everything that the rewards of a victory bring. Very similar to the Socialist outlook.

    * Noun: In the context of a human being, someone (very often learned) having academic brilliance but lacking the inner confidence or determination to put into practice their views.

Have now left the board until Donald is elected. I will then return and scoff at you and your band of ineffectual (nearly put effeminate) and continual losers. As 1961pie says .... this board is full of L/W losers, but we'll see won't we?

Please don't misquote what I ACTUALLY said, there are plenty of others that can do that. I never mentioned left wing losers.

To be honest I think it was a dreadful post and totally out of place as we celebrate VE Day.

Agreed, I think that there was an obvious right and wrong in WW2 and thankfully the right side came out on top. I will happily celebrate the valiant efforts of those who made it happen and made our futures much better. I won't talk about 'winners and losers' however, because the human lives lost on both sides meant that everyone was a loser in real terms.
