When a manager or player leaves because they want to they waive a loyalty bonus from past employer. So when say NUFC came in for wonky conk they will have gave Sheff Wed compo but also to entice Bruce they could have agreed to pay him what he missed out on with loyalty at Sheff Wed. There will be a time frame of say a year on his start date here that he cant leave or he pays back the said amount.
