I wonder if this is a bit of a deflection from what's really going on at Greyskull. I'm sure I read somewhere in January that they needed £20 million in funding to complete the season? Yes they have some rich fans but there's a limit, and share issues can't keep the taxman at bay forever.
Outside of Celtic who are bomb proof (no pun intended) they have the biggest wage bill by some distance and must be losing millions at the moment.
