In the late 90s, I spent three weeks in hospital having developed Guillain-Barre syndrome . I came down with that disorder about a month after having a Hep B vaccination. Whilst in hospital, I had the joys of having my breathing checked before I was allowed to sleep and a heart monitor attached when I did.

At the time the doctors discounted the Hep B vaccination as a possible cause of the GBS, but in recent years there has been a body of scientific work that suggests a possible link.

As you can imagine, all this leaves me with a keen interest in vaccine safety, but I would still accept a Covid19 vaccination, if and when one becomes available.

I have huge doubts about the Covid19 vaccine. This will no doubt get people saying he is a "nut" an "anti-vaxxer". (One of the most infuriating things about debate these days is the inability for people to pick up on nuance and shades of grey in an argument) I am certainly not anti-vaccine. I am opposed to any vaccine that is produced in an unrealistic time frame. ( It said on the radio the other day the average is 4 years, ). Alarm bells would certainly be ringing for me. Alarms bells are bleeding screaming at me when the man (not a country) who is the second biggest investor in the WHO goes on BBC breakfast television and says he wants pharmaceutical companies indemnified who produce the vaccine. I think it is perfectly reasonable for me to let this man and his wife and kids go to the front of the queue when the vaccine is produced....no doubt by one of the many companies he is linked to.

Ive seen the anti Gates stuff and find it odd. I follow him and their foundation on Facebook and on the surface of it they do it right. The people against him on my Facebook groups (and, granted, its a very small sample) are generally conspiracy theorists in their other beliefs anyway or pro African Colonists (he does much of his work in Africa).

In terms of media, the split is broadly main stream to IBS style conspiracy theorists.

If that was a tory politician you would be quite correctly pursuing that connection for all it was worth.

That's also part of the Green/ Extinction Rebellion agenda, and they seem to have the support of the establishment.

May I remind you that you once spent a weekend demanding that I respond to ‘facts’ that you had found on the Russia Today website? And didn’t you also demand that I respond to ‘facts’ that you had found on Skawkbox? And were you not holding out those ‘facts’ in support of the belief that held that Corbyn represented a credible leader of the Labour Party who could lead them to victory?

If I had to rank you and IBS on a delusional scale, you might well not come out on top.
