I feel this thread is a bit unfair on Durnan and even Gunning we have had a lot worse in last few years

At least those lads have been competent in their day and played a fair number of matches for United.

What about the lad from Rossco who was intimidated by the pictures of ex united players on the walls!!

We have had some terrible players and if Barton can also play centre half he is first name on the team sheet imo

Some bad keepers but Zwick probably the most costly in that we persisted in playing him

There are so many contenders - a list of players that csaba signed or that mixu signed in the January would provide two abject squads to choose from
