    O/t German fitba

Frieberg look to be a bit overpriced at the weekend against werder,

Watched both their full games last week and Frieberg looked pretty strong and big against Leipzig and werder looked like they would struggle against anyone at set plays.

Cud be wrong but I thought they would have been closer to 8/15.

could not complain about the standard of the football, but seemed surreal with the empty stadiums.

It was like watching scottish football, unless one half of the old firm are playing, there's naebody there !

I fairly enjoyed it but was strange.

I take it German footballers don't curse and swear as you could hear every word.

Cud imagine the Scottish game wud have to be dubbed.

Berlin derby will be interesting, I wonder if it will still have a bit of intensity, current really feel it with Dortmund and schalke.

Week Monday, I'll then be able to stop my missionary work on dab mad if they want any further education it'll have to be paid for.

Werder Bremen looked haunted by relegation.

Have a decent record against Freiberg though only lost 1 in 6.

Until very recently the Berlin derby was just about the least intense derby in world football. In the split Berlin days the two clubs were best pals and the fans of Union went along to support Hertha if they ever had to play in the East. I think the first time they played each other was about 10 years ago in the second league but this is the first season they’ve both been in top league.

That changed in November when Hertha fans were burning Union shirts and flags etc, then at the end Union hooligans invaded to get at Hertha fans do the east / west split seems to be replacing the east / west friendships of old.

With a full stadium tonight I’d have backed Union but with empty one I go for Hertha.

Saw union game but hard to judge anything against Bayern, probably watch with a beer but no bet.
