Well said youth .... absolutely correct. Be it assembling or marketing products to create profits and jobs I can say I was one of many important tools used to make this happen.

Are you not just a little embarrassed that you have to keep telling us how important you were ? There's some issue underlying this I think. You need to learn to love yourself now, I'm sure your life hasn't really become as worthless as you believe after retirement.

"Dominic Cummings could walk on water tomorrow and the headline in the press would be 'Dominic Cummings can't swim'."

Every decent parent would do anything to safeguard their child. This is nothing to do with virus rules and everything to do with a witch hunt by the press and those who simply don't like Cummings. Why are there no demands for Gething or Kinnock to resign? They broke the rules just to socialize, not to safeguard. A very loud silence about that, isn't there?

I've got no problem whatsoever with Cummings resigning if he broke the rules, provided others who broke the rules resign as well and that applies to ALL parties.

Because they are not in government which puts a whole different level of responsibility on people
Because they didn't author the behaviour code and then break their own code of honour

Here's me thinking that everyone is equal under the eyes of the law, be he a lawmaker or a dustman. Luckily for me you were here to put me straight, El Squidness.

These people are just weird. Lying is as easy as breathing. But as we can see from this forum and elsewhere, there’s always enough mugs ready to believe them.
This is what might do for him now, claiming yesterday that he'd warned about the pandemic. Proven now he went back to that old text the day after he returned to work, April 14th, and added the paragraphs to the old document then. Caught red-handed

Dunno about you boy....but although in the 'most at risk' category I've still managed to queue and shop for myself twice weekly without a problem and I've refused the free food delivered to the door along with the fetch and deliver service offered. Very simple really ...... walk 10 yards to the car, drive into Waitrose where the social distancing is strictly adhered to, pick up my goods, swipe my card and return to car. Drive home, wash hands after emptying my bag and putting goods away and bingo ... the jobs a good 'un. I then watch the continuous Liberal cum Labour hogwash propaganda pumped out by the self appointed TV Lefty experts and have a good laugh at how such so called journalists make such huge mountains out of f'call which incidentally normally leads to f'call and in the Cumming's case will be the same.

To your question. Definitely Boris has shown the way under a situation not experienced in my long lifetime as best as can be expected. I don't think in fairness any of your tribe would have done better, criticism is easy when you've not got to make the decisions as you've no doubt found out during your life. The Krauts? don't really know why you mention them. All I do know is they appear to be one of the lesser criticisers of our impending departure compared to others. I wonder why? cars perhaps?

At the end of it all, the problem will be getting the economy back on it's feet ...... this Chinese plague has caused momentous damage compared to the 'Catastrophic loss of jobs' ' Slaughtering 1000's of Irish cattle' ' The USA taking over the NHS' 'Drastic food shortages' and other bollux spouted months ago by the remain cult. Strange as well isn't it, that the negative doom mongers talk of years to get trade deals signed ...... well if you want a new bet fella, then here's one. I believe great deals will be struck and operative well within one year i.e. certainly during 2021 and one will be with the Yanks ...... with Trump's blessing. Please don't bring the NHS into the equation. One final point, I believe without doubt ( well sorry but I believe in my country) that our scientists (with millions just given by Boris) will crack the vaccine this year and become one of the worlds leaders in the field.

Sleep well until I return the first week in July.

I thought those on the left wanted equality. How wrong was I?

Even if you accept that Cummings broke the rules to safeguard (not a given) by driving to Durham, taking the family on a pleasant drive and sit down by a river while telling people to STAY AT HOME was not safeguarding. It is embarrassing. Everyone knows he's a liar.

Nobody cares about Gething or Kinnock because they didn't make then break their own rules. I would be perfectly happy for them to be punished, but talking about them is just a distraction as they didn't set the rules, design the slogans etc.

People who did help make the rules, then broke them, like professor Ferguson and his Scottish counterpart, said 'ok you've got me' and resigned with no fuss as soon as they were found out.

I don't recall them trying to spin their way out of it or holding press conferences to desperately try and keep their job. They just did the decent thing.
