I think he certainly has his head screwed on but this will be tested by both him and the club, giving the current climate, once decent genuine offers come in. There is now way we will reject a 3/4 million bid with add ons. No matter how valuable he is to us.

Have to disagree with that. I can't see the club's owners doing that. They're not poor, and they're sitting on the best playing asset we have. If it costs more in bonuses to keep him here until the market picks up that's what I think they would do.

That's my point OS, why I think the club won't sell him for the kind of money mentioned earlier. The transfer market will recover, clubs are still going to want to buy good players. I think by January and definitely by next summer things will look a lot different to how they look now.

Neither had Robertson mate. 3/4 million for a player like shanks is short change to some clubs including English championship clubs.

but Robertson was outstanding for us in the Prem, Shanks hasnt kicked a bah for us in the prem and historically he never had many chances or any success

Robertson was starring in Prem and helped take us to cup final in 2014.

Shanks will be worth far more if we wait 6-12 months and let him show what he can do in the top league
