I am not sure whether TS has been on Sky, but I know that they have now interviewed both him and Barry Sty in a short space of time. Now forgive me for being cynical but are our pay to view friends trying to influence things, and if so, why? Peterborough certainly are a smaller club than the Millers (look at the gates and respective stadiums and last 10 years league standings). They have one obvious advantage and that is their geographical position.

In terms of the Tranmere idea, I thought that both the Millers and Coventry are promoted. Obviously tha'ts why their 8 team play-off comes into the equation because the Posh would not get a look in otherwise.

The Ipswich article, which I posted a link to earlier, did say that we would be automatically promoted under the Tranmere "throw a double and have another turn" system. My latest understanding of that cryptic puzzle (which could easily be wrong) is that we would only get automatic promotion if, after applying the worst case scenario "margin of error" adjustment to our ppg, we couldn't be caught by any other club after applying the best case scenario adjustment to their ppg.
If that's correct then we wouldn't get automatic promotion as our least number of points under Tranmere's proposal could be passed by other clubs using a higher point on the "margin"

I am certainly not confident that the Ipswich article got it right (automatic for us and Cov) and the Peterborough article got it wrong (automatic for Cov, play-offs for us)

Thanks for that wrinkly. As far as I am concerned (and yes I am biased) then If the season ends then then there's no games other than play-offs. That means the season has ended and the top two go up. the next 4 play-off. fairest way is PPG. EFL get this right.
