    Odd really isn’t it?

The media telling us how bad Trump and Boris are yet both were elected by the people of what are allegedly the two most democratic free nations on the planet.

    No they're not.

UK is 14th on the Democracy Index, USA is 25th.

Also, neither of those were elected by a majority.

In fact, Trump got 3m fewer votes than Clinton.

The media is just telling us what they're doing, its just obvious how bad that is. The USA's populism has led to becoming the Coronavirus epicenter and rioting. The populist UK just had more deaths in a day than the EU27 countries combined as Europe's epicenter despite a few weeks head start.

This is the consequence of our democracies and what the people asked for and received.

What's odd is the fact more people voted against the Tories in the UK than voted for them and they obtained an 87 seat majority .

In the past presidents of both parties wanted to become president as part of a sense of duty and to help others. They generally had a sense of ideology whether that was to reduce the size of government and increase freedom or to reduce inequality whilst upholding the American dream. Mr Trump has no ideology and he certainly has no intention of helping anyone except for himself, his family and his closest peers. He managed to gain the presidency by being funded by the wealthiest in society, whilst tapping into the fears of middle America that the country was no longer theirs. His election was down in part to the fact that those who support him are far more likely to vote than those who oppose him. Had the economy stayed strong, he would probably have won a second term as presidents generally do, however that is less likely now and his best chance is to stoke divisions, rattle his base on their issues and attempt to disenfranchise those who oppose him.

All Trump is doing is repairing the damage of 8 years of Obama.

That's why many US citizens voted for him
