Without checking the various interviews that Robbie's given recently I gather that the words he used when talking about CB was "adding cover" which to me infers that he sees Connolly and Reynolds as first choices.

For me this would be a very high risk strategy and we could get very badly ripped apart in certain games. If I was the manager and had permission to add only one player to the squad for next season it would be a commanding CB. What would you do if you were allowed only one addition?

If I could get two players the second would be a Billy McKinlay or Jim McInally type for midfield where we have little poise and creativity.

dont think anyone thinks this but certainly appears that Connolly and Reynolds are favourites

See post #221 "i think we need to strengthen defensively"

I agree it would 100% be centre half that would be my first choice. Then a winger, then a striker.

I think they'll play their part in a lot of games. All depends on who/how many we sign. Even if we sign 2 that are better players, they will still be comfortable back-up. I'll worry about it more if season starts and we've not signed a centre half. But right now its just a waiting game.

It just feels to me like a child sitting at 2pm proper raging that Dad's not made their tea yet, when its hours away from tea time!

Give it time and I'm sure we'll see progress.

Its managers speak when he refers to another centre half as back up.When we eventually get into grounds next season i think we will be value for money to watch.I am sure the team will not have a 0-0 all season.

We are still being linked with Nisbet from Dunfermline but i know that's untrue because i have read from financial experts up the road that we are on the verge of ADMIN.

I fear for our clubs future with that news! My grandfathers(either of whom were never football supporters!) team must be listened to with their expertise in this subject, and many others!

She was ridden we the Spanish flu,
    her ribbons coloured darkest blue,
    granny's days were looking numbered,
as in that deathbed her body slumbered.

To ease the pain the Funsters rallied,
they gave her the national drink to swally,
she rose fae the dead and did demand,
to see the arrival O TheAuldHunStand !!!.

Excellent as usual GB, inspired me

I'm a man of no conviction
    A man who doesn't know
    Sang young Boy George
    A while ago

But even George would be impressed
With Texan John who did it best
He said yes after saying no
And to the Dees it was a blow

    Fast forward on the DVD
    The Fun are glum
    For we have Tannadeechi
And they've got the Derry bog tree

    Tannadice will be awash
    With Arabs full of passion
At Dens a full 2000 strong
    Amassed in Samba fashion

    They said just dance
    And we just laughed
    But they're the Fun
    And mostly daft

The Godfather said dance to Arabs listening,
now the Bedsit's no got a pot to pyss in,
but TheAuldHunStand seats on TV glistened,
When against the Well they socially distanced.

    FACT with a WASC.
