Play offs still to go ahead but Stevenage’s fate sealed and no other matches to be played.
So the precedent is set. Hope I’m wrong but I suspect this might be what we end up with elsewhere if there are a few positive Coronavirus tests leading to postponements.
    Ah, but is it

As I understand it, Macclesfield again failed to pay players salaries for March by the set deadline of June 1st and so may be due a further points deduction which would put them below Stevenage and thus save them........... bots from Herts

I don't know about re start training. They should re open a granny brothel for Rooney.
I suppose when money is in the bank, the incentive is lost

Once sky have their teeth into games, I can't see it being cancelled, unless teams forfeit by choice perhaps?

Hadn’t realised that MA. Writing definitely on the wall then.
Imagine if one Championship squad member tests positive once squads are properly back playing and training together then the rest of the players will have to be ‘quarantined’ for 14 days and that will be the end of that, regardless of what the broadcasters want.

There has been the odd SBC player test positive and those players have, indeed gone into 14 day quarantine, not the rest of the squad.

so, imagine the scene, approaching the last week of season, two teams in 2nd place (or 6th place) points wise - same points, same goal difference, separated just by goals scored. Facing a tricky final away game compared to 3rd/7th place side with an easy home game against a team with nothing to play for, what are the chances that the 2nd/6th place team might have a player fail a covid test, as an insurance policy

Easy (spectator) trips to Coventry and Rotherham next season then...and a third season in tier three for mighty Sunderland.
