As all the play-offs are behind closed doors I'm surprised that the option of single match semis, on neutral grounds, don't appear to have been considered. Perhaps the TV rights, from Sky, will cover the extra costs of two games.
    I hope Wycombe win promotion

I’m surprised the final is at Wembley. Can’t see the point playing there with no crowd. Should be at a ground central to both finalists to minimise travelling costs

Good point, although some players and managers may think it's their only chance of playing on that stage. Unlike us of course - it's our second home

I did think the same about why two legs, but I then thought the reason i reckon is because a few teams had wanted to extend play offs to incorporate more teams.efl dismissed that to keep everything as same as possible and therefore if they had then said only one leg they might have been a few upset about changing the format.added of course To the tv factor too.but most first legs in particular are cagey affairs get ready with teams out of fitness/sharpness for them to be even more cagey.i”d tip a few penalty shoot outs on cards.

From a purely selfish point if view I want the weakest club to go up to give us the best chance of finishing above them.
    So probably Fleetwood.
Certainly not Pompey as they could invest and finish mid table .

Thankfully we won’t need to visit this year....can’t I say I would have had much appetite for a play off scenario after all what gone off. so I am glad we avoided it.

Wembley was built at great cost it loses money so every game possible is thrown at it to make it look value for money.

Who I think is Oxford. They looked a class above at the NYS. Then again, we battered them at theirs, so who knows.

Oh and another thing, how much are we all going to be looking for Peterborough's results next season hoping that they fail AGAIN!!
And you can bet your bottom dollar Peterborough will be looking at our results willing us to go down as their "Vengeance Tour" limps on 🙂
