Every FN league in Sweden has restarted and lower league's in other countries have kicked aff too.Its a national disgrace what's happened here.
In my opinion there is one very good reason,England has a population of 54 million and has 92 professional clubs,Scotland's population is just under 5.5 million and has 42 so called professional clubs.
We had to shut down our league's because there are far too many snouts in the trough, many of these clubs are no more professional than a flea in the air.In an interview done a few years ago Fudgie the owner of Hearts said there were far too many clubs in Scotland but in her recent reconstruction bid she tried to add another two mouths into the trough.FACT.

To be fair, one of the other issues in Scotland was that when the season could have likely started would have coincided with players contracts running/about to run out. Clubs would have needed to temporarily extend those about to finish to cover the season’s extension and there were no guarantees over the ability to persuade players to do so, especially those who had lined up bigger deals (Forrest to Livi for example). A lot of Clubs had a lot of players falling out of contract and genuinely may have struggled to field a team. To a lesser extent, this is actually happening in England - Ryan Fraser is out of contract at Bournemouth at the end of June and has refused an extension so will now be available only for their first two games before he buggers off. Who knows what effect that may have on their relegation battle?

I’m not saying what happened up here is right or wrong as clearly (myself included) playing out the remaining games was by far and away the preferred option but there were many factors that resulted in the early curtailment. Notably, it would appear that it is only the Big Leagues in Europe that have come back with even France finishing early, so we’re not alone here.

Still say Hearts are where they are for a reason. They are now blatantly grasping at this as a one way ticket out of a complete clusterphuck entirely of their, and their’s alone, own making.

Its perfectly within the spfl clubs rights to suspend or expel - this is what i dont get from the bravado of Hearts. Most likely scenario is they go for more money but to suspend league start wont work in my view as majority will be disadvantaged and as scots law i cant see being agreed.

Also the laws of the game clearly state that the season ends when blah blah games played or otherwise brought forward by members blah blah. They must have a total cvnt of legal representation - or simply trying to scare for more money. **** them now I say.

    Absolute disgrace

Can’t see what likes of us and Cove have done that Hearts want to take us to court

All we have done is win a lot of games this season - something hearts failed to do

Makes me sick if they are going to try and cancel our promotion at this stage

I think you’ve misread that slightly LS. The report says that legal letters have been sent to all Clubs, including United, Cove and Raith. Don’t know why they’ve written it like that which is trying to make out that we’re being individually targeted but it’s definitely all Clubs being threatened in a blanket case. (Or basket case more like).

I like the way that Hearts are wording it that they don’t want to see titles or European places etc not being awarded which is a blatant attempt to try and neutralise Celtic weighing in if there is a threat to them not getting the title but I honestly wouldn’t worry about this. The worst case scenario for us is that Hearts brinkmanship forces through a late reconstruction to 14 - but then how fair would that be for John Robertson at ICT? He’d end up like Club 12 () going into the Premiership with a Championship squad clearly not fit for purpose.

The SPFL have a QC on board and I'm sure I read he was pretty confident. Ideal scenario, both parties take it all the way, Hearts lose case and a fortune in capital weakening their promotion bid which ultimately costs them many millions. Honestly, I'd rather the fun won the Championship next season and Hearts got beat by Hamilton in the playoff.

Thats the way im thinking. Last game of season Hearts need a point to win league, dundee super sub Albert Kidd comes on to score 2 late goals and confines hearts to play offs and nelms runs from stand to hearts fans to reveal a t-shirt of vicky pollard (who dropped their "boycott" for the day) . They are a laughing stock now.

nowt in there about taking action against league winners. Ultimately it has nothing to do with the league winners - be funny if they tried though.

This is getting tasty. How funny would it be if the only vote that was passed (within the correct time frame) was the one where all clubs voted to expel Hearts & Thistle from the league? I hope it happens now. F*ck the Jambos.
