Seriously please watch that documentary it will show you something of how unfair the whole system is

If hundreds of thousands of families lose a father figure for trivial reasons and sees a system that oppressed them and wants to enslave them
That has a knock on effect and will become a self filling prophecy for both black and white in society
I think you have the wrong tense with 'wants to enslave them' and it's not quite 100,000's. And the biggest reason black kids lose their fathers is they bu gger off and leave them. Perhaps that is why so many of them are murders.

The vast majority of black people murdered in the US are murdered by black people. The vast majority of enslaved people in the world right now are being enslaved by Africans.

Do you not get that as a white man I feel demonised by what is going on and instead of gaining my support I stopped listening.

One thing we can all agree on it's pretty shocking after all these years that we haven't even come close to getting it right.

to put your mind at peace, its not individuals that are the issue here its the narrative (the divide / we are different / keep them down narrative is the issue)
you as an individual have had the same influences and for want of a better word the brainwashing - that we r different and we hate u,
in actual fact most people are like minded and the same

The penal system in America is a way of enslaving BAME and poor people simple as that and lots of fat cats makes billions out of that and it certainly is hundreds of thousands if not millions affected by being incorrectly incarcerated for crimes that others would have got away with.
Look at how the US government in the 80s / 90s treated cocaine & crack, same thing one is cheaper and more processed, difference is poor black people are more likely to do one and rich white people and more likely to do the other

I cant believe you are generalising so much black guys are murderers and run off and leave their kids?
There are factors in play here (incarceration for petty crime, poor schooling & education, lack of support, financial restrictions, lack of support from the government and society in general, being made to appear to be different and criminals, or beasts / rapists /drug dealers etc)

Im not saying it doesnt happen elsewhere, but other countries arent bombing other places telling them what to do

Just try and look deeper than the Bull**** you are fed, expand your mind to at least investigate what is happening

What happened in the USA was abhorrent to any right minded person. However, this does not excuse the complete and utter disregard for the rule of law and the safety of others, by both black and white, at the demonstrations witnessed in many of our cities. This pandemic is the worst in a generation and in excess of 40,000 have lost their lives. Their actions will probably result in more losing their lives than would have done without these demonstrations. As mickd so rightly said 'All lives matter and not just blacks lives'. This is in no way a racist comment but a sad reflection of the disregard for others shown by these thoughtless individuals. As the saying goes 'Two wrongs don't make a right'.

No one is arguing against all lives matter

    Everyone agrees they all do

As for what happened please watch that documentary of any well informed views on systematic racism and oppression
It’s is happening today along with a division on race and financial lines

But please watch something that will inform you on what these people have had against them for generations
Poor funding of everything no ability to better themselves and a system that keeps them oppressed

There’s plenty of money to be made by sending armies to war and people to prison

Just not as obvious because everyone is brain washed into thinking these people have had the same opportunities and have the same options as others

BS, the whole point of my post was not to argue against the movement but to castigate those individuals who were putting the lives of all races and creeds at risk.

The problem you are getting here (having read some of the comments above), is that, as soon as you look at is as 'us V them'.. there lies the problem. If you cannot simply acknowledge the discrimination that any group faces and only come on here to say that "whites guys were beaten up too", "blacks are just as much racist to each other", blah blah blah - then that says a lot about you. It is as if when a racist incident occurs, all the racists start getting defensive. If you are not a racist then you wouldn't need to defend yourself, it is as simple as that. The fact is, the states is where the BLM movement should be.. there should only be peaceful protests everywhere else to show support. How many more killings of a black person by a cop will we have til they start prosecuting them?

My point exactly I stated in all my posts that it was about division on racial n socio economic terms
It’s about the system creating a them n us n dividing us

Once we start to see we r all together the 99% all think the same
We want to be safe we want some sort of comfort economically and we want to be happy and safe with our nearest and dearest
The issues occur when people don’t have all of those things and there’s a system to ensure that they don’t

If people all hot together there would be a change and who doesn’t want the change the people higher up the food. Hange
They don’t want to lose any power or financial benefits
They don’t have any qualms about people suffering as long as they get what they want
