I read via twitter a few weeks ago that Hedges was leaving. I thought it was a snide signing and he's been as mediocre as you get.
I didn’t mind him or GMS but the problem was neither of them were as good as Hayes.

Hayes won’t be as good as he was the first time but he is still better than the both of them.

I agree. I think with the current situation he's probably a good signing.

I wonder if folk would be as happy to take him back if he signed for Sevco?

I think Hayes is a good signing regardless of the situation.

He is also an option for playing at left back with Kennedy in front of him.

You are probably right about the hun thing,if he signed from them a lot of folk would be out with the pitch forks.

Going by what Richard Gordon said yesterday, and what Vancouver Don is saying on Pie and Bovril:-

McKenna out later this week, £4.5m sale.
Which will allow Hayes and Cerny to sign, possibly Greg Leigh. Would mean wage cuts only last till August.
Logan will also depart this summer. Squad reduced by 6 players, if you add in loans for McLennon and Anderson.

My own thoughts? Add Hedges and Bryson to that list, we can’t run with any passengers next season, give youngsters a chance. Think those two only have a year left on their contracts, I’d accept loans for them to get 50% of their wages off our budget.

It’s just a shame that our recruitment/scouting network isn’t top notch that we have to go back in for players who decided to ditch us for one of the bigots.
I did like Jonny Hayes as a player and he was fairly decent for us when he was here.
Another way of looking at this transfer window is that the virus has again helped McInnes. His jacket really was on a shoogly nail with regards to our performances etc and because his recruiting in the last few years has been pretty woeful overall then him having next to no transfer activity during this window will suit him. The pressure of recruiting new blood is off, he gets to concentrate his efforts on the previous dross he brought to the club without much pressure as he can blame the virus.

Surprised if Logan goes but he's not getting any better. Wonder if he takes up plumbing full-time and ends up at Cove or something.

Bryson is a passenger but if he finally gets fit then we will need him.

I'd be shocked if we got £4.5m for McKenna. That sounds like the kinda fake sales that Sevco go on about. If we do get that then I'd bite the hand off whoever it is paying.

He nearly signed for them before Celtic came in.

I just can’t see this, either from a price point of view or timing.

I think he is now worth £3m at best as his form had dipped and his hamstring is very weak. Also, cannot see the point in any team buying him at this stage in the seasons (ending or starting).

Sounds like shiite. Where's he supposed to be going?

I wonder if this means that Hernandez will be getting the nod?
