I am fully expecting a further legal paper issued on United. To relegate us to div1 and swap with thistle. Hearts will also demand shankland for free as compo for having to relegate us and will demand we abandon the Jim statue and in place have one of the budgie smuggler herself. Our season ticket money will be transferred to tynecastle and all gate receipts for next season (especially forfar, montrose and peterhead games), Robbie is allowed to pump Ogrens wife and must contribute to hearts foundation monthly. This is the logical next steps to the season chaps.

If in the event Hearts court action is successful, then presumably that would leave United no choice but to appeal the decision. We will sue for £6 million, and the other two clubs £3 million. - Also following Hearts lead, we could threaten to delay the league starting on 1 August. I'm not sure the SPFL members would be too happy about that, and the potential loss of income and repayments to Sky TV.

The timing of the case and Neilson moving is a strange one.

Would Neilson not be Party to discussing this with ogrens or Tony A, does he not know what our view / position is on the hearts case ???

Who knows with this whole debacle but the fact they take our manager when suing us for our premier league position must be unprecedented !!!

Robbie is Hearts through and through. I know he left them for (better things) but he had been at Tynecastle since about 15.

Listening to CL and SP on the podcast , there was no surprise from them that he would go, or even about the fact he was offered to go. They danced about things a bit , but it sounded like they had spoken to him a few times and certain things were mentioned. The Budge relationship came in to it too.

Totally agree this is a bit of a debacle, but I wasn't surprised in the slightest. And being honest, apart from the sh*t way it happened, I'm not too fussed.

Timing ways , yes , but him leaving, like a lot have said, it isn't that bad.

No idea who is best for the job, plenty good opinions on here for various managers. Let's not just dive in for the sake of it...

I would like to believe that as only manager he was not privy to any private matters internally that hertz could use in an action.

But in any case I would like to see hertz well decked now, any lingering respect I had has gone. I hope they linger in the champ for many seasons and join DFC in admin

He wasn't even manager, he was Head Coach, so he should be even further from any legalities that had been discussed.

This is what i canny get right in my head.

What have all the League Champions done that can be construed as being detrimental to the situation that Hearts have made for themselves?

I know it comes across the wrong way but their case is relegation is unfair and the only way to contest that is no teams get promoted therefore no teams go down either.
They cannie say they want to be club 13 because reconstruction has been voted down,i am not sticking up for them but they are acting on the advice of a QC.

but they have had numerous opportunities to avoid going down.
    1. not being rubbish all season.
    2. Reconstruction Task force led by owner.
    3. a couple of attempts to get it through but not doing enough to gain any support as they always had a "anything to save hearts approach"

Court case should be only to allow them to get compensation for their "unfair relegation due to circumstances" any talk of no promotions is a disgrace on their part. instead of making this a Hearts v SPFL thing they've brought in everyone else to make this all more about legal nonsense rather than football. If they win they will be alot of resentment from many clubs.

"no one should be left financially disadvantaged" - by wanting to stop promotions then that's disadvantaging teams.
I dont care what anyone says. they wouldnt be bothered with all this stuff if hearts weren't bottom! SAVE HEARTS AT ALL COSTS

I am merely bringing their case to the attention of posters that maybe dinnie get it,i do not support it at all.

They say that any relegation when a season is incomplete is unfair, the only way out of relegation is to stop all promotions. If this fails its a second bite at the cherry by saying ok we lost and are down but its still unfair so give us £8,000,000 compensation and we will accept our fate.
