That story didn't come from the Beeb though. It was reported everywhere.

True, but they made a big thing about the original finding of the "noose" and how the other drivers pushed Bubba's car to the start line, but when the official Federal investigations came out they kicked that story into the long grass.

Interesting that certain people on both the right and left are obsessed that the BBC is biased against them. They can't both be right, yet people from either camp will swear to their God and obsess about it til they're blue in the face. Tends to be the more extremist supporters of both camps that obsess about this.

The new DG of the Beeb, a fully paid up and long serving Conservative Party counselor will do doubt fuel the lefty fire, but can't see even his values pacifying the far right either. Posts will continue on here no doubt. As you were.

I'm not spoiling for a row. It just seems a few of you want to jump on people because of their political leanings. Why not put people right who condemn everything in the right wing press? Bit a balance fella. You can do it.

The BBC isn't what it was. I just think standards have fallen. It's gone all too, 'tabloid' in my view. I certainly don't believe everything I read in any one publication nor do I think every story is made up because it comes from a rag with a persuasion to the left or the right.
