    I don't think it was either of them tbh. As far as I remember, Brown refused us permission to speak to him and that was the end of it. If Wright wanted to come however, he could've stomped his feet a bit and manufactured a move, but he didn't. Should we hold that against him? I don't think so.

    Not sure what your point is? Are you saying we shouldn't give him the job because he 'apparently' used our interest to get himself a pay rise? These things happen all the time.
