I don't think it was either of them tbh. As far as I remember, Brown refused us permission to speak to him and that was the end of it. If Wright wanted to come however, he could've stomped his feet a bit and manufactured a move, but he didn't. Should we hold that against him? I don't think so.

I'd say its simply permission to interview him. Similar to NI with Robinson. I still dont believe we would go down this road. Simply interviewing out of politeness because of Mackay's involvement in the Scottish youth football setup (project brave, performance schools etc).
