    As I think I’ve put on here before, my maternal grandad was killed at Arnhem aged 26. He was Irish but lived in London.

    My other grandad fought the Black and Tans in the west of Ireland. Another glorious chapter of British history, going round a foreign country killing unarmed civilians and setting fire to property. The Labour party put forward a motion in the HoC condemning the actions of those representatives of the British crown, but obviously the Tories voted it down.
