Still a little charmer then Monty. XXX

See if you can stay on here long enough without losing your cool. Not a good start but I have faith. I will give it 2 days before some expletives come out. "Complete tool" is just this side of abusive language so I will give you the benefit of the doubt with that...I do like it when you are on here entertaining us but then again I'm a sanctimonious owd bugger as you know ya little tinker!

Come on you can do it. We are rootin for ya!

Someone's mentioned Vietnam on the WLDM thread.

Vietnam has a huge border with China but they,re claiming zero deaths due to covid and less than ten ICU cases.

Are they lying with their stats?
Well there are eminent Professors from prominent western universities that are appearing to corroborate these claims.

It doesn't put our govt in a very good light.

Indeed it is a can of worms but the answer will only be found if ALL factors are considered and not just those that are politically correct.

Hebei: China locks down 400,000 people after virus spike near Beijing.

'Swift and dangerous turn' in Texas cases, says governor
Over just the past few weeks, the daily number of cases have gone from an average of about 2,000, to more than 5,000," Mr Abbott said on Sunday.
Several southern and western states have recorded a surge in cases after lockdown restrictions were eased.
The number of reported infections in the US has now surpassed 2.5 million.
Over 125,000 Covid-19 patients are confirmed to have died nationwide - more than in any other country.

I worry about a spike here after all the marches and partying, there seems to be more than a few people who simply dont care.

NUT a few years ago said 40% of teachers were thinking of leaving their profession, are we really going to get these people off Furlough?

Which teachers do you know are on furlough?

All those I know are working as usual, delivering either to vulnerable learners in schools or delivering online learning. I don't know of one teacher who has been furloughed?
