    I’d prefer Mellon to Mackay.

Mellon has had a lot of recent success and not easy to do something with Shrewsbury where budget not great and against some bigger teams.

Mackay had a good record but is well below Mellon win percentage - which I think is up at 44%.

Mackay not been in club football for over 4 years which is a bit of a gamble.

Between the two I have a preference for Mellon

Malky in slightly to 7-1 on sky bet, odds unchanged on Mellon. Wondering whether to cover my bet with 20 on Malky, thoughts?

(time we don't have). Clearly McClaren was his man but after that didnt happen, we seem to have went back to square one. Now we are still speaking to people?!? surely this should have all been done by now? the Wright comment he made aswell?

i hope he gets the right man in but he seems to be unsure of what to do here.
Big Tony’s quote “there is no rush” has giving me the fear. I get that it’s imperative we get the right man. But for the love of god get it done. A new manager, especially one who hasn’t managed in Scotland, will need time to assess the current team and see where it needs to be strengthened. Not to mention which players are available to bring in.

Hope not. Despite what he did for us in the past, he's tainted maroon and also done **** all since that's worth a mention. **** Hearts again BTW 😋

Said on the radio yesterday that they were hoping to announce it at the start of next week.

Asghar imo, wants someone who's not gonna try & undermine him, who's gonna be happy with players being brought to him rather than solely sourcing the players himself. Wright had publicly spoke out against his superiors numerous times at St. Johnstone which led to fall outs & eventually, I suspect, him quitting.
See if its the right person though, why cant the structure change? how can Tony not take Mals vacant role?

never the less he will always be used as a comparison at the fact he's been successful in the prem but we're looking at people who are lower leagues.
