Interestingly it doesnt say how long the deal is the united statement. Media outlets reporting 2 years though. There was a story in a paper today that said it was a rolling contract. That would be strange considering be paid compo for him and his family are moving up.

Not being a downer, very happy with the appointment but no mention of contract length.!?

Read elsewhere he's on a rolling contract with a 2 year option all going well.! Canna be right is it.?!

Didn’t know about him till he was on the short list but everything I’ve read well I’d take him before Malky and McClaren 🧡🖤❤️ plays attacking fitba and can change tactics during the game fs I canny mind the last time a united manager had these credentials 🤣🤣🤣😁

Anything less than 10 points before we play celtic on the 22nd is not acceptable. 😜

Congratulations Tony for having to turn on the hoof and not going down the Riccarton route that the outraged were pointing you toward's.They would have felt smug tonight if you had went for utter failures from the Hearts dugout which led to their well deserved relegation.

To Malky Mackay,i hope that one day you maybe forgiven for your well documented sins of the past and be granted the opportunity to prove just how good a manager you could have been for Dundee United Football Club, but dinnie hud your breath.

Its a risky appointment given the calibre of manager who turned us down or we drove out but obviously i wish Micky all the very best and if it does go tits up i will not treat a small minority of our support with the same contempt as they treated Malky Mackay,FACT.
