God help the EFL when more clubs have serious problems. If I were the Goverment,s Sports Minister and it were possible to do so, I'd be seriously thinking of putting a task force in to replace Parry and his colleagues

I dont buy that its down to EFL. We live in a world where we want someone to blame. The EFL is convenient target.

Do you think legislation 'would most certainly' have stopped what happened at Bury and Wigan? I dont. Fit and proper tests dont assess morality. Its the owners who caused the issue.

What rule would you put in place to stop what happened with these 2 clubs (or ours for that matter)?

I think the EFL have to take some blame but agents & greedy players must take a lot of the blame, transfer should be capped, wages should be capped,if you can't live on 5 grand a week then there is something wrong. If I go for a job & ask for 5 grand a week & all companies tell me to Feck off then I would soon lower my demands. All clubs must take responsibility all players & agents must take responsibility.

We,ve had this debate before so I'm not going to go over it again.
Whilst there might be a number of reasons for the Bury, Bolton and Wigan scenarios the EFL need to do much, much better to give all clubs a decent chance. By their own admission their processes aren't good enough and if the governing body isn't acting at the top of their game then they are not best placed to deal with some huge problems coming in the next few months
No undertaking the fit and proper test at Bury is unacceptable
