He is a good defender. He is a leader. He is also a decent footballer who fits Cocu's preferred style of playing out from the back. It's the way he was taught as a kid and has played that way all his career. Very little doubt in my mind he has what it takes to play well in the SBC or even in the PL. The small doubt I might have would be physicality. He isn't used to playing the more hurly burly roughshod English style but I do think he should be able to handle it.

He is a right side centre half which makes 4 in all. te Wierk, Evans, Wisdom and Davies. We don't need 4 RSCH's. Davies out on loan?

Left hand side is more of a problem. Last season we had Tomori in on loan. This season Clarke. Next? We have reasonable backup in Forsyth but not a first choice. IMO we need a new LSCH of the quality of Tomori/Clarke, preferably a buy rather than a loan, unless we use Bielik at CH which, when you look at his last couple of games at DM, might not be a bad idea.

I think Rooney will be a bit part player next season. He was really good up to the crisis, good after the restart but in the last 3 games he has been off it.

Bogle appears to have lost his mojo but I must say he was way better against Brebtford than he was at WBA where I would have given him 3/10.
Tomori hasn’t had a look in at Chelsea since Christmas...just sayin’.

MA good that he's leader can't have to many of them Yes we probably need a left centre half depends if Clarke stays hope he does Fozzy looks comfortable there played really well at Palace in the cup Four right sided sounds a lot but hope Wisdom is No1 fullback and Evans holding midfield with Shinnie because we really need to be harder to beat if we wish to progress The dogs have proved that

Evans, Shinnie really ……...that's really going to put the fear of god in to the rest of the league
If Shinnie is more than a Scottish league two player I must of missed something

You'll be saying Morgan Whittaker to lead the attack next
If that boy has done anything in any game to warrant a place on the bench I must of blinked at the wrong time

Two pints have lager and a packet have crisps please

Whittaker has, indeed, done little of note on the pitch in the 1st XI this season. His chasing down of a lost cause got us the foul which led to the equaliser against the Red Dogs. That's about the sum of it. He must be really impressive on the training pitch is all I can think of. That or we don't have better for the role...................................

    I am mista...

"No championship player has a better minute per goal ratio than Chris Martin this season, 10 goals and 6 assists in 1649 minutes of action makes him the league's most frequent producer"
Playmaker_EN 7th July... its now 11 goals and 7 assists btw.

He's also the only player who can execute a defensive header when we're defending corners / crosses.

Tom Lawrence, currently has 10 goals and 3 assists.

Maybe we would be better without those 30 odd goals?

Adi easy to quite his record since November how about his last 68 league matches 12league goals Agree he's very good at defending corners /crosses but he's nowhere near as important as people make out We've won dozens of matches without him ,including playoffs and a final Its only the last few weeks because his contract is ending that he's shown anything Decent player But not essential especially in his present wage . As for Lawrence if you had spent has much money as me going round the country watching the team and seen some of his shameful performances he's put in Not really relevant to say where would we be without those thirty goals because if they were not playing we wouldn't be playing with nine players someone one else would be playing and may have scored more goals than them I want Prem football and to get that you have to be consistent neither of those have been for a long time Of course they are both decent players but you won't get promotion if you are inconsistent
