I would be more worried if they didn’t take any notice of them.

Nancy Pelosi here has just given the perfect description of Trump and the way he's managing the virus. "He's like the driver who is lost but refuses to ask for directions". Remember those?

Meantime, we have Governors putting forward laws to STOP cities/councils/companies making mask wearing mandatory. We're flattening the curve OK, it's almost flat in the vertical plane. 75,000+ new cases in one day. July is only half done and it's already the month with the most recorded cases.

Many people have died of this virus, of that there is no doubt. Also, many people panicked and cashed in all or most of their share portfolios in the early days of this virus too. The stock market is now booming, I wonder who bought all those shares back then?

Fans could be able to return to stadiums in England from October, says Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Pilots will take place from 1 August but any stadium reopenings would be subject to coronavirus guidelines.

Some sports, including football and cricket, have resumed behind closed doors after the Covid-19 lockdown.

"We will pilot larger gatherings in venues like sports stadiums with a view to a wider reopening in the autumn," said Johnson on Friday.

"From October, we intend to bring back audiences in stadiums.

"Again, these changes must be done in a Covid-secure way, subject to the successful outcome of pilots."

Reminds me of the old WW1 chestnut "Home Before The Leaves Fall." That turned out well. Boris is clearly bonkers. Expect 200,000 Covid dead this Winter.

    Sounds a bit alarmist.

Football isn't indoors and that's where viruses spread.

Concourses are semi-indoors so you wouldn't want too many people packed in there. The East Stand concourse is quite narrow so that might be problem, have to keep the numbers down in that stand in particular.

Me alarmist. You sir are having a laugh. Interesting that you've accepted the "safe outside" nonsense.

Well those BLM protests don't seem to have caused any spikes, and they were packed in like sardines in some places.

The cold/flu i.e. virus season has always been in Winter because there's more people indoors.
