Completely agree, Andy. PMQs in particular has become an embarrassment in recent years (prior to a largely empty socially distanced HoC).
The sooner we get rid of the braying rabble factor, which is more reminiscent of a poor public school debating society than national leaders, the better.

The general opinion in the Netherlands is that it is childish.

Over here when a Minister is answering questions, the questions are put and the Minister answers, factually. Looks and sounds like proper grown up politics. There is the odd "exchange" but it is, in the main, civilised and adult.

I think the general opinion in the UK is that it is ’childish’ too. It’s been better since since the HoC has been less populated which is, I suspect, why Rees-Mogg is so keen to bring the braying bullies back...to help with the strategy of evasiveness.

The fact that the Dutch think PMQs is ‘childish’ just illustrates what a national embarrassment it has become. I doubt they are alone.
