It's set me off ruerrin ez that. "Doing a Struber".

Am assuming it's my mate Dane wots written it.
A think it wudda been wiser not to get involved criticising the EFL just nar and waited a week or two.
Presumably the club that haven't coughed up yet are Hull fo Angus McDonald.
Bit concerned abart the last sentence. Wots going to happen that we need to be feytin ovva ?

The appeal is being decided by an Independent Panel

Wigan are appealing against the EFL's decision to dock them 12pts. Wigan-v-EFL

Shuddant we be on the side of the EFL on this one ?

Am a missing summat here ?

That's why am wondering why we are sh1t stirring against the EFL just nar. All our other issues with them can be sooarted after the Independent Hearing.

Part of Wigan's case is that the EFL did not show proper diligence in signing off the Wigan new ownership as fit persons with proper funding to run the club. This new ownership sructure immediately put the club into administration. Wigan will be arguing that the EFL are culpable in the events leading to administration and do not deserve to be punished
For Dane to be wading in now calling out the EFL for incompetent governance only adds weight to the Wigan argument. Bad judgement in timing Dane fo me.

Am not saying the EFL are not incompetent by the way and agree with Dane's comments. Just wrong time, wrong place. Do the feyting later.

EFL will hide behind the “”Independent “ bit in court. Say they have done all they can and they punished, but as the rules state “an appeal, will be decided by independent “

For once maybe the club realise that they're not going to be the push overs that they've always been in the past and rightly so. It's good to make your point in life otherwise folk will always trample all over you. There's never a good time to say these sort of things but good on them.

Personally I think the coronavirus will be the deciding factor in this and we'll be relegated. If that's so then the club should boycott the football league next season. Be as loud as possible and people will have to listen eventually. It's time somebody made a stand against this.

This club has set it's model on FFP since the 2011/12 season, much to our detriment at times but nevertheless we stuck by the rules and played fair whilst never putting the club in real jeopardy.
