As the Bong incident has been raised in the WeAreBrighton Match Preview I thought I would bump this thread. It seems to me we had no objection to Bong taking his allegation to Tribunal. It should however have ended there when he could not produce the evidence to back up his claim of racist abuse. It didn’t because he just went on to call Jay a liar and a racist.

Well, Bong is now at Nottingham Forest and Chris Hughton is no longer at Brighton so it is a shame that, now Jay is back as a Claret and nobody can watch anyway, the whole afternoon will turn into a non-event.
Imagine the fun if Bong had been playing for Brighton and Chris Hughton was still manager! I like Chris Hughtoh, however, his comments after that match were ill-advised to say the least, although he was supporting his player. There are times when it is best just to keep your mouth shut!
