Eastville, Bristol Rovers old ground, survived for years, but according to Google, it's now an Ikea,

I don't know how much longer Millmoor has to be used for sporting use but it's not going to be sold for housing or retail next to a scrapyard/ breakers yard breaking up rail carriages containing asbestos.

I suppose if it is demolished eventually it will just become extra space for scrap.

I think with the closing of Griffin Park, my grounds count now includes more 'retired' stadiums (stadia?) than it does ones that are still in use.

Roger Stone made sure that the Booths were hit hard for the way they took the piss out of RUFC.
It wasn’t the old man Ken, a stalwart of the club in its darkest days. No, blame young Ken Boorh Junior if anyone for the stupid and crass way we were forced out of Millmoor.

£17,000 a week he demanded for us to use and play at Millmoor. Tony Stewart has grand designs to alter the ground and bring it up to 21st century standard but, oh no, the Booths merely wanted to expand their scrap business empire.

Well done Roger Stone for stopping them and putting the blockers on their business.

On another note, how do the Booths get away with so much smoke and toxic fumes coming off their business at all hours of the day, especially at weekends? I’ve drove past during the week and at times it’s bad but the weekends it must be cable burning time.
