So I'm guessing this is a different international striker from the one originally talked about... my guess on the original one was Brophy as he has a year to go on his contract. So that's on the backburner now and we're going for Fletcher instead on a 6 month / 1 year deal as he's out of contract.

I've never warmed to Cosgrove, even when he was going through his purple patch, and I was looking forward to us offloading him and getting £2-3m for him... I like him even less now for turning down the French move and then getting injured straight away!

Thanks for the update MSM. The Board deserve enormous credit if they agree to bring in someone who is a credible replacement for Cosgrove

See it reported that he's apparently too dear (money grabbing arse, let's hope he doesn't get a gig anywhere), having said that I'm not in the slightest bit disappointed as I share BB1903's opinion of no goals unless it's San Marino Fletcher
